Front Office Manager
As our office manager, I do whatever it takes to keep the office running on schedule and smoothly from day to day. This includes everything from scheduling appointments and new patient introductions to employee supervision and interoffice management. It’s been such a pleasure to meet so many new patients and work with our established patients and their family members that come here. I am a true people person and treat patients as I would my family members.
When not working, I enjoy my cat, Atticus, gardening, crafts, cooking, and cars. I am an active Moose member and do a lot of community service. I have one son, Nathan, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth, with whom I love to spend time.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I received my Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Virginia Western Community College in 2012. As our dental hygienist, it is my responsibility to ensure that each patient receive a thorough, yet relaxed and enjoyable cleaning. I enjoy building personal relationships with my patients that are centered on educating and motivating them towards an optimum state of oral health. Many people have a fear of going to the dentist, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to help them through their apprehensions and dental fears so they can have a beautiful, healthy smile. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing results, as patients’ oral and overall health improves.
I was born and raised in Mt. Jackson, VA and now live in Raphine. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Andy, who was in the Marines, and is now an investigator at the Rockbridge County Sherriff’s Department. I have a 105 pound Shiloh Shepherd, named Sadie, and a Ragdoll cat, named Jackson. I love exercising, kayaking, and doing pretty much anything that includes being outside! I also enjoy doing “DIY” projects, refinishing old furniture and upcycling old pallets and windows when I have the time. I am so fortunate to be part of this amazing team!
A dental assistant for over 25 years, I joined Drs. Bradford and Catchings in 2012. My duties include assisting both doctors, setting up and properly cleaning the rooms for procedures, taking and pouring impressions, cleaning instruments, and patient care. Most of all, I work tirelessly to ensure our patients are as comfortable as possible whenever they’re in our office.
In my free time, I love to travel with my husband. It may be by car or motorcycle, but we love to take our Boston terrier, Tia Marie, with us whenever we can. I love all types of music and go to the beach as much as possible.
I am so grateful to be a part of this wonderful office. Since joining the team in 2011, Drs. Bradford and Catchings have taught me everything that I know! They are both so understanding and patient, and they encourage a fun, light-hearted atmosphere in the office. Even though I have only worked in the dental field for a few years, I love my job and give my all to each patient every day.
When I’m not in the office, I love to spend time with my husband and daughter, Maykynlee.
